I Am Somebody is a nonprofit organization that was created to help women and children survivors of domestic violence. Many women return to their abusers after leaving because they don't have job skills, financial means, proper daycare and so many other extenuating situations. This organization will provide basic skills training, job readiness, financial training, support and more. Employment is offered to women through three subsidiaries whose profits are put back into I Am Somebody. (Tranquil Elegance by Danyael, Elegant Weddings by Danyael, and Danyael's Virtual Office Services)The women must meet certain criteria and attend a number of workshops in order to receive support and/or employment. I Am Somebody will partner with a domestic violence shelters and other organizations such as counseling to offer many other services to these women.
