We are 3 people who want to help save the earth and the 3rd world countries. We thought of this theme when one of the owners was helping a child in World Vision and the other owner was making jewlery to give proceeds to help the countries. We are building a hospital in Africa. We have coffee and chocolate. We have spiral products which helps give heart surgey to people Nepal. The spiral is made from juice boxes and telephone wire. Uniquely Global is all about helping people help themselves. There are crafters, designers, musicians etc., who are trying to get themselves noticed so that they can make a living doing what they love. Uniquely Global wants to help them get their name out there by placing their products in the store for others to see, buy and love. As for the charitable side, many of the items that will be sold will come to the store through Fair Trade Federation distributors. These companies find people in Third World Countries who make quality products. They are paid a fair price for these items, not pennies. By us selling these items we are helping to put food on their tables, feed their children, help with medical issues etc. We at Uniquely Global want to show the world that you can buy beautiful items for yourself or as a gift, which will also benefit someone else. By spending money on these items, people need not feel guilty about how much they spent because they will know there is someone or a charity somewhere that is benefiting from that sale. Imagine buying a piece of jewelry or a handbag and knowing that you have helped with irrigation in a Third World Country Village. That's what we are all about!
