Confessions of a Resilient Entrepreneur: Persevering to Success Description
Confessions plays out in two parts. The first begins with the author’s childhood in Canada and the inspirational role model she meets after a youthful accident. It travels with her to and from Israel immediately after the 6-Day War, and through her ordeal with Hodgkin’s disease, which destroys her first marriage. It traces her business-acumen development as its gained through a series of companies in which she worked with – and without – a series of husbands: manufacturing, architecture, office management, importing, infomercials, and disaster call centers. Finally, it follows the author to discovering who and what she is, and exactly what she has to offer to established and aspiring business leaders.Section II of Confessions of a (Recovering) Serial Entrepreneur provides the reader with a sampling of the practical direction the author affords her coaching clients. Through guided reflections, readers examine various aspects of their lives, such as whether they actually demonstrate their values, what kind of tradeoffs they’re prepared to make to “have it all,” the impact of their families on their work and their work on their families, and the difficulty leaders have with asking for help. Confessions also includes an appendix list of the author’s Book Notes, which are synopses of popular and essential business and advancement titles that are available online at http://www.clarityandresults.com. Target Audiences: This book not only appeals to readers interested in business, memoirs and life coaching; it is sure to be a hit with women of all ages, regardless of their business aspirations.
